Projected General Motors' $20,000,000 Technical Centre at Detroit, U.S.A The center will be built around a seven acre lake and covers 350 acres. It is said to look 20 years forward in motoring development and marks a new trend in industrial research. The 1000 foot frontage building on the left marks the entrance to the Center and contains and auditorium capable of seating 1200 persons. The facilities of the center will be made available to schools, colleges, universities and individuals of ability engaged upon the advancement of scientific knowledge. October 29, 1945.
