They Still know How To Laugh -- "A full rice-bowl - a happy mind" - that philosophic Chinese saying is indeed illustrated at this open-air food stand in Shanghai. Although rice is not being distributed at this particular moment, it does not affect the smiles on the purveyor's face. Many of these open-air stands are erected near one of the places where refugees and other Chinese enter the French Concession, Avenue Petain, near the Zicawey Bridge, Shanghai.
