Although some people may not experience any symptoms, it can lead to pain in the upper left side of the abdomen. This condition can be life-threatening if the aneurysm ruptures or tears. Women and pregnant people are at a higher risk of developing splenic artery aneurysms. Endovascular procedures and surgery are common treatments for this condition.
