Na'im Sharab, a 70-year-old Palestinian man, owns the oldest primitive oven inherited from his ancestors 130 years ago. He and his children and grandchildren work inside the oven in the city of Gaza. Sharab says that they work every morning to prepare the oven, which runs on wood and burnt oil purchased from shops that replace oils for cars. With the electricity and gas crisis, some people have become accustomed to sending bread, coffee, and pots to the oven, where the largest share of cooking pots is made during Eid al-Adha due to the availability of meat in large quantities.
