Light micrograph of a haematoxylin and eosin-stained section of an intracholecystic papillary neoplasm (ICPN). It shows several large polypoid structures projecting into the lumen. ICPN is a macroscopic, non-invasive, papillary or polypoid epithelial tumour growing into the lumen of the gallbladder. It is considered premalignant and carries the risk of developing into invasive carcinoma.
