The Smithfield Club Cattle Show at the new Agricultural Hall, Islington, [London], 1862. The interior of the building has more than answered all the expectations formed of it; and the arrangements about dividing the sheep pens and making avenues between will help to ease the crush which was experienced when the crowd was at its height. There is space still available behind, and ere long we quite expect that the Smithfield Club will begin to ask for more room, and the Company be only too happy to accommodate them. It seems thought that the centre of the hall will be the most appropriate place for Mr. Jonas Webbs statue.... From "Illustrated London News", 1862.
