The binary star has a large yellow component and a smaller pink/blue one. The planet has a moon, seen above the stars. The Trifid nebula is a huge region of gas which glows due to ionisation of its gas by radiation from hot stars embedded in it. Some of the light is blocked by the extensive dark dust lanes which cross the nebula. It lies around 6500 light years away in the constellation Sagittarius as seen from Earth.
