I am sure you heard of St John Ambulance Brigade (SJAB) which was one of the many CCAs in my secondary school. I chose the CCA as I wanted to give people a helping hand and always believe that simple actions have the power to bring smiles to people's faces. The uniform may suggest that we only do foot drills and first aid. That is not true. We also help the community by other means such as donating food or even offer help with simple renovation. First aid skills are essential and will be handy in unfortunate times. Furthermore, the techniques SJAB offer such as bandaging and CPR can make a difference to someone's life. Bleeding is priority and needs to be treated immediately. Huge amount of blood loss can be fatal and may result in death. The 2nd most important is CPR
