A man works at a traditional brick factory at Savar, on the outskirts of Bangladesh capital Dhaka. Though traditional process of making bricks is one of the largest sources of greenhouse gas emissions, hundreds of such brick factories have become very important in everyday life because of unplanned and widespread urbanization across Bangladesh. They are polluting environment every day violating law. There are about 7,000 brick factories and most of those have fixed chimneys and they are burning tons of logs and coals every day.
