18th century illustration of a karoo scrub robin (Cercotrichas coryphaeus), or Karoo robin, is a species of bird in the family Muscicapidae. It is found in Lesotho, Namibia, and South Africa. Its natural habitats are dry shrubland and Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation.
