Citadel of Masyaf, Syria, c1950s(?). Famously the medieval headquarters of Rashid ad-Din Sinan, the Old Man of the Mountain, leader of the Hashashshin Sect (Assassins). This was also the capital of the Nizari Emirate in the 12th and 13th centuries.
