Fragments of a marble statue of Dionysus, found in the Attic deme of Ikaria. The statue is colossal in scale and must have been a cult statue of the god. The head was recently associated with the body. It is uncertain whether the right hand with the kantharos belongs to the statue. About 520-510 BC. Photo via Newscom
