The cricket player, Henry (Harry), William Lee (1890-1981), pictured teaching boys from Westminster School in the art of the batting at Easter classes for member's son at Lord's in 1916. Lee played for Middlesex before the First World War. He enlisted in September 1914, was shot in the leg, taken as a prison-of-war but survived and was discharged by the Army due to the wounds he received. Nevertheless, his career with Middlesex continued in after the war in 1919
