Martin Harvey (22 June 1863 - 14 May 1944) as Dick Dudgeon in The Devil?s Disciple by George Bernard Shaw. For Martin Harvey?s season at the Savoy Theatre on 2nd November 1930 to 6th December 1930. The play did badly and Harvey asked Shaw if he might rewrite parts of it. Shaw told him he had flattened out his play and he ought to be in the workhouse.
