Light micrograph of follicular lymphoma showing a diffuse area that is completely lacking follicles. There is a hint of vague nodularity. Follicular lymphoma accounts for about 20% of all lymphomas. It is composed of follicular centre (germinal centre) B lymphocytes, usually both centrocytes and centroblasts. Most cases retain follicular pattern at least partially. Hematoxylin and eosin stain.
