The Eaux Tortes and the Petite Seolane. The glacial cirque and the valley bottom of Les Eaux Tortes, at 2250 meters of altitude, are the result of the melting of a piece of the glacier de la Blanche. An interweaving of channels has carved these peat bogs where a particular vegetation, adapted to this cold and humid altitude environment, has developed (rushes, sedges, mosses...).
