Brimstone moth (Opisthograptis luteolata) resting on a leaf in a garden habitat. The flight period is April to October with overlapping generations each year. This species is a member of the Geometridae family and is found throughout the UK, Europe and the Palearctic ecozone. Their larval foodplants are range of trees including hawthorn and blackthorn.
