Patient taking a tablet out of a blisterpack of the covid-19 drug Paxlovid. This is a combination of two drugs, nirmatrelvir (PF-07321332) and ritonavir (white). Nirmatrelvir is a protease inhibitor that acts on the 3C-like protease, also known as main protease, of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, the cause of covid-19.
