These pictures show scenes during a flight by Sunderland Flying "oats manned by member of the Royal Australian Air force, while escorting High seas convoy. The Squadron is well on the way co creating a record for the number of hours flown on active service. The bomb-aimer, in the nose of the aircraft, sets his bomb sights as the Sunderland swings away from the convoy to inspect a suspicions vessel. July 2, 1940. (Photo by British Official Photograph).
