20th Century-old And New -- At top is the New York Central's 20th Century Limited which began operating on June 15, 1902. The train consisted of five wood and steel cars accommodating 42 passengers. At bottom is the newest $4,000,000 version of the extra-fare New York to Chicago limited which is scheduled to go into service next week.
