Taffy Meets The Queen. "Taffy", Mascot of the Royal Welch regiment. Meets the Queen. Although he is only one year old he managed to stand stiffly and respectfully to attention. Her Majesty the Queen, accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh, arrived in Cardiff, yesterday, on the start of her coronation visit to Wales. The royal couple drove from the railway station through the crowded streets in an open car. Later she inspected the guard of honour, which was made up of contingents from the three services.
