Queen Mother and an African Mother -- Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother has a friendly chat with Mrs. F. Cofie from the Gold Coast who is showing her Majesty her five-month-old baby. This charming incident was during a garden party at Lambeth Palace, London when women from the Colonial territories were presented to the Queen Mother. The party was organised by the Women's party was organised by the Women's corona Club. For the Garden Party the Queen Mother was in white - a dress of filmy white tulle, patterned with tiny spots.
