British Warships In The Tagus -- Our photograph, taken recently, shows H.M.S. Nelson, flagship of Admiral Sir Roger Backhouse, Commander-in-Chief, Home Fleet, in the Tagus, Lisbon, Portugal. The Nelson, accompanied by other British warships, paid a four-day visit, and this is the largest number of British warships to visit Lisbon since 1931. Portuguese seaplanes welcomed the ships as they ***** the Tagus. March 21, 1938.
