New Delhi Riots -- Some of the demonstrators including a number of women and small children are seen waving their arms, shouting slogans and carrying banners in a main street in New Delhi. The old city of Delhi was completely cordoned off during the recent disturbances which broke out. Demonstrators wrecked a number of trucks, turned them over and then set fire to them. The trouble started when 10,000 troops were Victory Parading before lord Wavell in New Delhi. When the rioting broke out, a curfew was imposed and meeting between more than five persons was banned.
