Brian Hulbert from Chippenham (Wilts) is seen engaged in bayonet practise during training in the small Arms Wing of the School of Infantry, Hythe (Kent). The Small Arms Wing of the School of Infantry at Hythe (Kent), is a development from the old School of Musketry. It's main purpose is the training of picked N.C.O.'S and Privates, both Regulars and National Servicemen, for an intensive course in the handling of all the small arms, which a modern infantryman may be called upon to use.
