W.A.A.F's Spare Time Drum And Fife Band - With eyes for nothing but their music. W.A.A.F. bandgirls on the march. Members of the Women's Auxiliary Air Force at an R.A.F. Station were very keen on starting their own band. They received full support from the station with the result that a drum and fife band has been formed. Instruments were purchased from their own funds and the girls, all novices, practice in their spare time. As far as is known there is only one other of these bands in the country. February 1, 1941.
