Princess Margaret In Glasgow -- Princess Margaret accompanied by Major Gen. A.P.D. Telfer-Smollett C.B., C.B.E., D.S.O., M.C., Colonel of the regiment, inspects the guard of honour. As Colonel-in-Chief of the Highland Light Infantry, Princess Margaret received the Freedom of the City of Glasgow on behalf of the regiment. The ceremony took place before a crowd of 30,000 in George Square, Glasgow. April 09, 1948.
