Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) spacecraft image of the asteroid Didymos (bottom right) and its moonlet Dimorphos (centre). This image was taken from 920 kilometres from Dimorphos and approximately two and a half minutes before the spacecraft deliberately impacted with Dimorphos in a test of whether such an impact would deflect an asteroid heading towards Earth. Image taken by the Didymos Reconnaissance and Asteroid Camera for Optical navigation (DRACO) on 26th September 2022.
