Livio GARZANTI (1 July 1921 - 13 February 2015) Italian writer and publisher; son of Aldo Garzanti; founder of the homonymous publishing house where Livio also worked and where he took over from his father as president in 1961; when he died. During his publishing career he discovered Pier Paolo Pasolini; publishing the first novel that made him famous; "Ragazzi di vita" (1955).
