Tuscany; San Casciano in Val di Pesa; wine and olive estate Principe Corsini Villa e Valle Le Corti: olive oil press (out of use) in the winecellar (cantina); The presence and ownership of the noble Florentine family Corsini in Le Corti dates back to 1363. The famous Villa Le Corti was built starting to mid of 16th century under Bartolomeo Corsini and his brother Filippo. Architect was famous Santi di Tito. The huge wine cellar (cantina) at historic Osteria Le Corti was built under earth 1602 - 1614. Today`s owners of the 250 ha estate with 13 000 olive trees and numerous vineyards are Principe Duccio Corsini and his wife Clotilde. They started the renovation of the estate in the 1990s. Today it produces wine and world famous organic olive oil. Since 2014; the family archive is in the villa. Most important family member was Lorenzo Corsini (1652 - 1740); who was Pope Clemens XII; 1730 - 1740.
