The transition from vessel-body to the neck is adorned by a circulating egg-rod. A woman dressed in chiton and coat is depicted on the body of the vessel. She stands on a simple standing line. Turning to the right she has turned her head back. The hair is predominantly covered by a hood (Greek sakkos). In her outstretched right she holds a Kalathos (wool basket); which she looks at. Her left arm is hidden in the coat. On the right is a bandage (Greek t鋘ie); which moves the scene into an interior space where the utensil hangs on the wall.
