Common wasp Vespula vulgaris feeding on a thistle flower. It is attracted to the flower by the sugary nectar, on which it feeds. It carries the flower磗 pollen with it from flower to flower as it feeds. Although adult wasps eat nectar, they collect smaller insects to feed to their young. Filmed in Zealand, Denmark.
