Volcanic gases bubbling from the seabed in Soufriere Scotts Head Marine Reserve, Dominica, in the Caribbean Sea. Dominica is the youngest of the Caribbean islands, having been formed by volcanic activity some 26 million years ago. The island is still volcanically active both on land and offshore.
