Confused flour beetle Tribolium confusum infestation. These tiny beetles are a type of darkling beetle and measure 4 mm in length. They are a worldwide pest and are known to infest flour, grain, rice, dried fruit, and beans. They get their common name from the way they are often confused with the very similar red flour beetle T. castaneum.
