Radiation fog over a meadow in the early morning. Radiation fog forms when the ground cools rapidly at night by radiating heat, causing the air above it to drop below its dew point temperature, leading to condensation of its water vapour. This forms a thin layer of fog near the ground. Radiation fog rarely lasts long after sunrise, as solar heating of the ground causes the fog to evaporate. Filmed in Denmark.
