Honeybees (Apis mellifera) feeding on the remains of a dead pupa after being pulled from its brood cell. Honeybees are able to smell dead pupae in their cells and will remove them once discovered. This one may have died from a disease like American Foul Brood (AFB) or from being parasitized by a varroa mite.
