The sequence of shots was taken on February 7, 2012 from 09:54:04 to 10:03:59 GMT, on a pass from the North Pacific Ocean, west of Canada, to southwestern Illinois. This video begins as the ISS is approaching the western Canadian coastline, where the blue water of the Pacific Ocean joins the snowy mountains. The camera is pointing towards the North Pole to capture the Aurora Borealis.
