Winter view of eighteen-meter high Inglis Falls as it descends the steep slopes of the Niagra Escarpment near Owen Sound, Canada, before draining into the Georgian Bay. The escarpment is a 1,200 kilometer-long plateau that reaches a height of more than 500 meters over the surrounding land and Great Lakes. The Inglis is one of hundreds of falls, along with the renowned Niagara Falls, that have helped sculpt the escarpment.
