Bangkok, Thailand, barricades burn in the aftermath of a violent crackdown on protesters on April, 19th, 2010. Militant protesters set fire to over 40 buildings after leaders surrendered to advancing government troops. Tires are used to create smoke screens in fear of government snipers firing from adjacent buildings, estimated to have killed over 80 Red Shirts.
