House sparrow (Passer domesticus) on the branches of a grape plant. House sparrows are primarily seed eaters but they also eat worms, fruit and kitchen scraps, enabling them to prosper in many urban environments. Male house sparrows have black markings on their throat, upper breast and between the bill and eyes, whereas the females do not. Filmed in Dudhwa National Park, Uttar Pradesh, India.
