Animation of the human brain. The highly-folded outer surface of the brain is made up od so-called grey matter, mostly nerve cell bodies where signal processing occurs. These regions are connected deeper in the brain by a network of nerve fibres, called the white matter. This clip is also available on white, or with a transparent alpha channel.
