This green Hydra has captured a small Cyclops, a micro_crustacean measuring about 500 microns in length, and is forcing it into the Hydra磗 mouth located at the base of its tentacles. The Hydra is a multi_cellular organism several millimeters in length and can be found in freshwater ponds, lakes and streams throughout much of the world. Recorded under Rheinberg illumination.
